Preamble

This blog is about The Occult.

Not Wicca, Not Witchcraft, and not Paganism. These are not always Occult in nature (at least, not as they are practiced today), and are better served for a blog about religion and culture. Many Wiccans and Pagans practice the Occult, but not all.

This is about the Occult. About Occultic Philosophy and found in the medieval grimoires of antiquity, which, while serving to inform modern magical movements, are a separate and unique topic in and of themselves.

This blog has only one purpose: to be my soap box. Here I will discuss matters of the occult, anoyances with or praises of other practitioners, thoughts on magic, discussions with other occultists, and general topics of concern (I am certain) to one else but myself.

I will discuss herein: Voodoo, Demons, Planets, Numbers, Sigils, Pentagrams, Spirits, Misguided Trials, and Failed Attempts. I will insult other practices, degrade lazy practitioners, and call out dangerous misconceptions. And I darn well expect the same in return. Magic is a contact sport, and only through battle do we refine our methods. If any of this subjects offend you I take no responsibility for that offense and I instead suggest you take a deeper look at your own practices. If you don't like it, feel free to go elsewhere, or counter my own arguments with your own.

Legal Disclaimer

I will often discuss the proper, improper, and sometimes bizarre meathods of practicing the Occult, summoning demons, evoking spirits, calculating names of power, or whatever suits my fancy.

If you do any of these things, practice any of these rites, make any changes in ritual that I discuss (positively or negatively), or begin practicing alternative forms of magic due to this blog: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE. Period. I'm happy to hear how it went for you, I hope you will shoot me an email or comment on a post and let me know; but I want to here it from you and not your parents, children, teachers, students, lawyer, or widow.

Also: if you are offended by anything I write, say, post, comment on, think, or summon: I do not owe you an apology, I do not have any remorse for telling you you're wrong, and I will not entertain arguments that do not make valid and well researched points (those that do, however, will likely be refuted, posted, or embraced). I don't care. Too bad.
